MATERIALS
We only use environmental friendly materials like spider silk, palmleather, Pinatex, bio-cotton and recycled polyester. All of these materials are recycled, bio-degradable or recyclable. See our page 'Products' for more information.
TRANSPORT
Since we only produce in The Netherlands, our CO2 emissions will be minimalized. We use electric trucks to transport our products, which use about 30% less CO2 than regular trucks.
PACKAGING
We only pack our products in recycled polybags and cardboard boxes.
WASTE
We strive to a completely circular production cycle. Right now we use waste from the farming industry, such as palmtree- and pineapple leaves. In this way we make their waste useful.

Another way to reduce our waste is our return policy. If you don't like your product(s) anymore, you can return it to us. We then recycle it, or bring it in to the biodegradable process.
BIODEGRADABILITY
When you bring your product(s) back to us, we bring it in to the biodegradable process. See the cycle to find out how this is done.
RECYCLING
When you bring your product(s) back to us, we bring it in to the recycle process. See the cycle to find out how this is done.
ENERGY
At least 50% of our electricity is generated from renewable resources, such as wind or solar energy. We are working on improving this number in the future.
FOOTPRINT
We do everything to minimalize our global footprint. Unfortunately it is not possible yet for CISSLLY to work without any waste. This is why we donate an amount of money every year to a good cause, depending on our quantity of pollution.

FUTURE
We are always working on ways to improve our sustainability policy. We strive to leave a as small as possible footprint and set up some goals to achieve that.

Goals for the year 2020:
- Reducing CO2 emissions to 50% less.
- Reducing the surface of our footprint by 15%.
- Finding more new fabrics which reduce waste.
